What a day!

Girls were out of school today and I was just going to bum around all day and do nothing. They had other plans. Melissa talked me into taking her and a friend to the park so I did and then took Ellie and James to get some stuff to shoot for a DPChallenge that is coming up. Then we picked up Melissa and her friend and went to the playground at the school. We took the dogs (just Lolli and Juniper) and had some fun! I got the challenge shots I wanted and the dogs GOT TO RUN! They love to run when they get the chance. :)

Life is about the same around here, boring as usual. I did get on nibble on my offer to take pictures and donate part of the proceeds back to the charity! WOOT! I'll email them back tomorrow and see what we can do! I'm pretty excited about that!

Got the laptop back up and running and had to go buy a router instead of a hub so it could connect to the internet as well so the kids now have their own system to get on line with and I have mine. No more yelling at me to get off the computer, okay they will still yell but it won't do them any good.

Yesterday as I was delivering books, one of the stops I made the people were talking about how people in general always want more. More money, more stuff, more everything. I got to thinking about that and realized I don't need any more, nor do I really want anymore than I already have. I have my kids, my hubby, my animals, my camera, I set. Yeah, more money would be nice so we wouldn't have to worry about making ends meet month to month but really, I'm okay with what I have. One thing I learned when we moved here from Montana and I had to pretty much leave everything that I had collected throughout my life behind was, it's all stuff. Just that, stuff. Yes, it has memories but those memories are also in my head, the stuff is just the physical reminder. I have a few things that are still important to me and that's what counts.

Anyhow, enough with the heavy thinking. Terry got a lot of the backyard cleaned out so far this week, he's on vacation until next Saturday, TWO WEEKS with my man around the house! WOOT! You all know what that means! YEP! That Hunny Doo list just got really long! :)LOL! Though I don't even need to make one, he's got his own. I usually just say, "I want this one thing done today if possible...." tell him what it is and he usually gets it done.

Well, gotta go now and figure out what I'm going to shoot for the next two challenges, not only do I have my team to think about but I'm also in one on one competition with another photographer for a pool we are in! Wish me luck!

Love to all!

Okay, quick update and then I'm gone~

So what has been happening at the Zoo you may ask?

NOTHING! That is the problem, nothing exciting is happening, well James is really starting to be a pain in the you know what, learning how to throw tantrums and all but other than that, oh wait, Ellie is more emotional these days as she approaches puberty, Melissa is more moody as she approaches high school, Terry is more moody as he approaches his birthday (it's today by the way, he's 59) and I'm just a crabby old moody mom!

Okay, all kidding aside, this is the family update. Terry turns 59 today, last week we took him to dinner and then afterwards myself, his sister and his boss took him to a comedy show where he got razzed to no end by three comedians. It was a blast, everyone had a great time! Later today the girls have a few more presents to give him and will cook him dinner.

Melissa starts track practice today and I start my new regime as well. I promised myself that I would walk for as long as she's running, time to get back into shape, I'm tired all the time, my back aches constantly from the weight and don't even get me started on my knees! So it's time to get back on track (pun intended) and back into life. I am also currently a "Captain" of a photography team that is in competition with 11 other teams over the next 6 weeks. We are very excited and if you want to follow along here is a link to the site that will be keeping track of all the stats. WPL My team is TEAM PIXELSTORM!!! WE WILL BLOW YOU AWAY! :) Or at least give it our best shot! ;)

So, other than that, life goes on. Make comments, leave ideas, talk to me, talk to my dog, doesn't really matter to me. Life goes on, enjoy it. :)

Okay, here we go again

Going to do this again, simply because I get lazy and forget to send emails to people. Plus I need someplace to talk to myself because I know few other people are listening! Also I can share pics with you all here! ;) Lucky you!

Today we had some fun, took the kids to the park for a bit and then rode around, went to Montour Falls and had some more fun. Took lots of pictures but can't share some of them because they are entered in challenges on DPChallenge, don't want to give them away. But I can share some other shots that I've taken in the past couple of weeks. Hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, cuz HERE WE GO...............
